The Alice Griffin Jewel Box Theatre

Intimate theater that I can not imagine a bad view from any seat. The only picture I took inside was the view from my seat. I am 5'8" and average build and had plenty of seat and leg room. The bathrooms were large, clean, and well-stocked. There are elevators available if you require them. Pictures were not permitted during the performance. I did not take as many helpful pictures at this theater as I would have normally. The show, Emergence by Patrick Olsen, had me overflowing with the joy and love he speaks of. I did get to shake his hand and tell him I was aware. It's always a pleasure finding another. Please, go see this show whether you understand what I am babbling about or not. If you are awake, you will enjoy meeting a fellow understanding soul. If you wonder what I am going on and on about, you just might get a glimpse and leave with that child-like wonder and the understanding of pure joy and pure love. A great, intimate place to see a show. I would have preferred to know that I couldn't eat in the theater before I spent on snacks but not the end of the world.

Nice comfortable theater. Much newer than broadway theaters and they have many good productions.

A modern performing art place with spacious waiting lounge & coffee shop. I was here for a play starring Susan Sarandon. The griffin theater is not big so audience can feel very intimate with the show. The staffs are friendly.

First time in this theatre & really loved the space . Smaller venue , accessible by elevator or stairs as it’s on the 2nd floor . Nice large area to get drinks before the shows .

Easy to get to location when using transit. On 42nd Street several blocks away from times square area. Very hard to park unless you use a parking lot. Theater is located on 2nd floor. They have larger elevators or use the grand staircase. Friendly staff. Cafe sells beverages, drinks and snacks. Large spacious clean bathrooms. Theater have excellent views of stage. I visited several times always a great show.
