Lavista Ras Al Hikma is truly a gem!** This community maintains the high standards that Lavista is known for, from Sokhna to Sahel. As a fairly new development, it attracts a clean and limited crowd, offering a serene and exclusive experience. The location is perfect—just an hour from Stella towards Alex and another hour from Almaza towards Matrooh. The landscapes are beautifully maintained, and the beach is nothing short of stunning. The Baboon bar/restaurant by the beach is a great addition, providing lively music vibes, a variety of good drinks, and delicious bites. Whether you're looking for relaxation or a vibrant atmosphere, Lavista Ras Al Hikma has it all!

Upscale, but a bit drab. I think it's the modern design and choice of dull colours. I mean, Lavista Bay looks pretty. The colour palette used is warm, with a good contrast to the green spaces and landscape. But this is just different shades of grey. A bit depressing to be honest.

The layout of the buildings and views of the units are also not as attractive as Lavista Bay. Only a few chalets and villas have real sea view in Ras El Hikma. Not sure I understand why the Al Hady brothers ditched their go to masterplan. One that has been executed over and over all over Egypt. But with Lavista Ras El Hikma, they decided to do something different.

I'm not sure it was a good decision.

Albeit, construction standards and quality are upheld in Ras El Hikma. After sales service is rock solid as it is in all other Lavistas.

Not many food and beverage outlets open yet. Tamara is your best bet for food. We tried Baboon, which is a beachfront Boho style restaurant with an 'international' menu that offers everything but the kitchen sink. 'Jack of all trades, master of nothing' I believe the saying goes.

Beach is ok-ish. Soft white sand that leaves a strange white layer on your feet for the rest of the day. Lots of rocks in the water so everyone swims in the 'designated area' which is at best 100m wide.

There's a bit of a bug problem in the gardens. Big ants, mosquitos and small ladybug-like bugs that are black.

To conclude, some areas have room for improvement, some are consistent to the Lavista brand, and the general look and feel could use some brightening up. Colors. Perhaps some pastels to counter the dark, grey, bland colors that exist.

My daughter and her friend were told to get out of the pool because they were wearing a burkini and pool compliant head covering. In a Muslim country, Muslims are being discriminated.
According to an Alahramonline article on Friday July 31, 2020, it says “
