Sicuramente sul podio tra i migliori ristoranti indiani provati a Den Haag fino ad ora, non metto le 5 stelle poiché a mio avviso c’é un disequilibrio tra prezzo e porzioni. (O aumentate un po le porzioni o abbassate un po il prezzo).

Midden in de gezellige Piet Hein Straat in Den Haag vind je Mad’Ras Indian Restaurant, een plek waar liefhebbers van de Indiase keuken hun hart kunnen ophalen. Het interieur is eenvoudig maar stijlvol, met natuurlijke tinten en netjes opgedekte tafels met wijnglazen. De tafels zijn ruim opgesteld, wat een ontspannen en comfortabele sfeer creëert.

De bediening is uiterst gastvrij en neemt de tijd om je te helpen bij het kiezen van gerechten van de traditionele Indiase kaart. We besloten om een aantal gerechten te delen, wat een uitstekende manier is om de veelzijdige smaken van de keuken te ontdekken.

Vooraf genoten we van Tandoori Prawns en Chicken Malai Tikka, beide perfect gemarineerd en heerlijk van smaak. Daarbij hadden we verschillende soorten naan: Plain Naan en Garlic Naan, die warm en vers uit de oven kwamen. Voor het hoofdgerecht kozen we een combinatie van klassiekers: Butter Chicken, The Real Chicken Mad’Ras en Chicken Tikka Masala. Elk gerecht had zijn eigen unieke, volle smaken, met een goede balans tussen kruidigheid en mildheid. Sommige gerechten hadden een licht pittige kick, maar nooit te overheersend – precies zoals het hoort.

Bij deze gerechten dronken we een Riesling Schieffersteillage uit de Mosel, een uitstekende keuze. De frisse en lichtzoete tonen van de Riesling complimenteerden de rijke, kruidige smaken van de Indiase gerechten perfect en maakten de maaltijd helemaal af.

Mad’Ras Indian Restaurant biedt een authentieke Indiase eetervaring in een gastvrije en comfortabele setting.

Had an amazing experience at Mad’ras Indian Restaurant! The food was absolutely delicious—from the flavorful lamb Rogan Josh & fish moilee to the unforgettable truffle cheese naan, which was a total game-changer. We started with paneer, green pea & chicken tikka, all perfectly spiced and cooked. Dessert was just as impressive with mango mousse & gulab jamun.

The ambiance was cozy and modern, and the staff was super friendly and knowledgeable about the dishes. Definitely a must-visit for Indian food lovers in Den Haag! Highly recommend! 🍽️✨

What can I say except amazing!

When you choose the restaurant with the rating of 4.9, either it is biased or they do it damn right. The second is the case with these guys - this is the food with heart and I finally found somebody who made it spicy 7/10, exactly as I love it.

The food is authentic, tasty and I have also found now the wine I was looking for for a very long time.

Give it a shot and you become repeaters soon! 💕

From the cozy ambiance to the exceptional food, this place exceeded all expectations. The Mad’ras Tadka drink was a standout – absolutely unforgettable! The prawns were delicious, and every dish we tried was spot-on. Mr. Sunil’s attentive service truly enhanced the experience.
